This motel stinks; room smelled. Unfortunately, there is nothing good to say about this motel.
For the price, it was a nice place to stay. Employees were extremely friendly and breakfast was delicious. Rooms were comfortable and welcome after visiting Sesame Place. However, the locks to the doors need to be replaced. We had to switch rooms when they couldn't code a key card to unlock our door. Also, the room next to us was broken into and the thief got the door open while an elderly lady was in the bathroom. Stole a couple of grand in cash. This happened as we were walking past for breakfast. The staff responded quickly and empathetically. Cops arrived within a few minutes. Still, not what makes a person feel warm and fuzzy.... But again, we got the room much cheaper than the surrounding area.
Nothing fancy but very new and clean. The hot breakfast was Ok. Excellent for the price we paid
The 'cook' was rude.
I guess you get what th pay for! There was no lock on the bathroom door, our toilet wouldn't flush properly, there was some sort of stain on several surfaces and I just laid down in the bed and look down and there was an empty sprite can. This hotel needs to step up their maintenance and definitely NEEDS better HOUSE KEEPERS!!!! we were of feed another room but it's almost bed time so what's the point.
The front desk person told me the breakfast begins at 6:30 AM, which is incorrect.
Stayed here for 2 nights while I was in town for work. The staff was very polite and helpful and the room was clean, bed comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. The hotel is going under renovation so there were some spots with no carpet or room numbers that were written on painter's tape in place of a placard. The door locks seemed to be updated on some rooms and not others. I'm guessing this is part of the renovation process. The hotel was quiet all the times I was in the room. I'd definitely stay here again without hesitation if I was in the area.
